Deleting Azeroth, Reclaiming Personal Space
3
If you’re a new visitor here, it’s business as usual. But if you came here looking for a new Ten Days in Azeroth post, or the old ones for that matter, they ain’t here. I’m reclaiming this here blog for my personal use.
Ten Days in Whaaa? Never mind. I did a series of posts and videos on my experiences with the amazingly addictive MMORPG World of Warcraft. That nonsense has been given its own dedicated home, aptly titled Ten Days in Azeroth. The videos can still be found on YouTube and Vimeo. But I’m clearing out all of the WoW content from here so I can reclaim this badboy for other uses.
Let me re-introduce myself. My name is Mark Pannell. Hi. Hi there. So why the sudden interest in personal blogging again? Life changes. I’m getting ready to divorce the woman I’ve spent 12+ years with. I might be making a career move. Life as I know it is about to be turned on its ear.
Here are my passions: my son, music, social networking, and finding a new reason to smile every day. I don’t have a lot of people in my life, but the ones that I do belong there. I have every intention of amusing myself more than any particular demographic with my ramblings. If you’re OK with that, come along for the ride. Could get interesting.

Sorry to hear about your impending divorce…it must be a major life change. I hope WoW wasn’t the cause
Hehe. No, didn’t have anything to do with WoW. I’m sure WoW has ended some marriages. But mine was a beautiful friendship that just didn’t work as a marriage. Fortunately, it looks like we’ll be able to revert back to that beautiful friendship for the sake of our son and ourselves. =)
As a WoW illiterate, I look forward to checking out the new and improved blog. Can we do something about those beady eyes staring in at me from the header? Cripes, it’s unsettling…
